Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided. You will record expenditures to aid management in compiling reports and preparing budgets. You will prepare vendor invoices for payment; verify items received, prices and quantities by comparing purchase orders, receipt documents, and invoices. You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, financial specialists and personnel specialists on pay related rules, regulations, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and reconciling detailed accounting and production reports/documents; 2) Preparing vendor invoices for payment; and 3) Using automated programs to prepare a multitude of reports, summaries, correspondence, etc., required for the dissemination of accounting information. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In addition to specialized experience, you may also qualify for this position with education as follows: Successful completion of four years of education above high school. OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience, in which the percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Additional Information This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
