Are you looking to help drive impact through quality business insights and analytics for a fast growing, high-impact area of the business? Sourcing Finance is just the place. Our team performs a critical role in partnering with Food Sourcing teams to drive resilience, value, and trust for the organization. This Senior Manager position will actively participate in a broad range of critical financial activities including financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, business analytics, and decision support. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to understand business performance, identify and communicate key opportunities and risks, and engage in preparation of executive-level materials.

You'll make an impact by :

• Driving Strategic Analytics: Understanding key sourcing processes, financial/operational metrics, and business goals and objectives to analyze, interpret, and communicate business performance, identify opportunities, and enable strategic investment decisions.

• Being a Trusted Advisor: Quickly developing strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Partner and participate in business strategy discussions and influence key business decisions with informed recommendations leveraging facts and data

• Producing Informative Financial Materials - Creating and presenting financial information to business partners in a clear and concise manner demonstrating ability to articulate Sourcing impacts/opportunities to retail merchandising business

• Delivering Data Driven Analysis - Sourcing and compiling relevant data; organizing and validating data prior to data analysis; consolidating and identifying exceptions and patterns in data; synthesizing data in the creation of actionable customer insights; and translating information into action plans.

• Practicing Continuous Process Improvement - Working across the organization to identify and solve issues with a customer-oriented mindset, bringing new ideas forward and influencing positive change

• Gaining An Understanding of Sourcing - Demonstrating ability to learn and keep up to date an understanding of Walmart Sourcing and new and creative solutions to help the business make the best choices.

• Driving a New Way of Working - Advancing our journey to become a more digital and data driven team by utilizing and championing data visualization tools to drive the business and educating our stakeholders to promote adoption

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 3 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area

• 3+ years' experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area

• 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects

• Experience working with Finance technologies, including Power BI and other data tools

• Experience across FP&A, process design, process mapping and process improvement

• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

‎

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
