West Sound Workforce is seeking a Lead Janitor to work with Metagenics, a nutritional products manufacturer located in Gig Harbor.

As Lead Janitor, you will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and will assist with training and leading crew members while ensuring cleanliness and safety guidelines are upheld. Playing a key role in supporting high standards for health and safety, we are looking for a proactive individual with good time management skills and knowledge of basic sanitation practices and inventory control procedures.

Shift Information:

• Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

What you will do as Lead Janitor:

• Assist in performing scheduled sanitation tasks
• Assist with coordinating and assigning monthly work orders and monitor completion
• Record and maintain supply inventory
• Train new crew members on safety and procedural standards and guidelines

What we are looking for:

• A least 1 year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and equipment operation
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures
• Team oriented, with a willingness to assist where needed
• Good verbal and written communication skills
