$19.00 - $24.00 an hour

Job Description:

Under direct supervision, receives, issues, and maintains control of parts, assemblies and raw materials. The selected candidate must have the ability to perform the essential duties & responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. The duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but is not limited to the duties described below.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives and places in stock all material turned over from the receiving department, incoming inspection, and the manufacturing area.

  • Disburses material upon presentation of properly executed stock requisition.

  • Must be able to quickly locate material within the stockroom.

  • Assists in the maintenance of a perpetual inventory.

  • Verifies items to be shipped (i.e. conformance, condition); affixes nomenclature and performs other packaging and shipping functions.

  • Uses wrapping paper, moisture proof bags, aluminum foil, tape, sealing equipment and other packaging material.

  • Is required to perform various types of packaging and labeling; fabricates boxes wherever possible; crates and otherwise secures containers.

  • Transports items using hand truck, forklift, and other mechanical moving or lifting devices to load and unload truck.

  • Works from package listing, commercial and Narda specifications.

  • Must be able to use microscope and the handling micro-components with tweezer.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

  • Some previous stockroom experience handling electromechanical parts and material and associated paperwork used in stock recording required.

  • Must be able to handle mechanical moving and/or lifting devices.

  • Able to lift thirty (30) lbs. plus light ladder usage.

  • Position requires accuracy in counting and recoding quantities.

  • Ability to utilize Microsoft office applications.

    Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
