Citizens Sales Support Program Manager in Johnston, Rhode Island

Description

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager I, who will create consistent executive level reporting and presentations for senior management consumption, insights and actions. Reporting to the Head of Sales, Strategy & Development, this role will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders on executive storytelling, presentations, & other key senior touchpoints. You will be responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommend best practices to provide program management expertise to ensure multiple business level projects are planned, organized, controlled, and delivered within a program portfolio, working directly with project sponsors. Your efforts will have a larger scale and impact than most individual project efforts. Typically, these efforts involve several parallel projects, subject matter experts, managers and key stakeholders. The outcome(s) of a program effort may have a significant impact upon business economics and success of the business strategic plan. These efforts may also consume significant amounts of funding. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process reengineering, establishment of control procedures) within this infrastructure area. Sometimes referred to as internal consultants, you will work on multidisciplinary projects and require a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions. Within the program office, you will use knowledge of the development lifecycle to monitor and ensure completion of projects on schedule. These projects necessitate fulltime commitment and are not undertaken by incumbents whose primary roles are elsewhere. You must have strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills. Furthermore, you should be able to communicate complex concepts, anticipate potential objections, and influence others to adopt a different point of view. Incumbents may utilize agile software development methodologies.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Program planning and strategy, which includes collaborating with stakeholders to define program objectives, scope and deliverables.

  • Program execution and delivery, which includes coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve program objectives. In addition to coordinating and collaborating with cross – functional teams, the incumbent is responsible for stakeholder management, which includes the management of stakeholder expectations, resolving conflicts, and fostering productive relationships.

  • Team leadership and development, which includes facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.

  • Engage in and deliver on special projects in support of strategic initiatives

  • Deliver reports and impactful presentation for management routines

  • Provide analytics that inform decision making and outlier management

  • Create ad hoc and standardized reporting accurately and on time, partnering with Sales Performance Management to streamline evolution

  • Provide on demand consultation and education as needed

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies that drive growth and profitability

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to create executive level reporting and presentations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate financial data and translate into actionable insights

  • In-depth knowledge of Retail/consumer banking products, services, and industry trends

  • Strategic mindset and ability to think long-term while also executing short-term goals

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on driving results

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Proficient with PowerPoint - can create a data story with impactful slides

  • Proficient with Tableau - can download and manipulate data as needed

  • Bachelor's degree required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $123,600 - $206,100 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
