Pearson VUE is dedicated to helping its clients deliver more exams by leveraging its global channel of partners. To help our partners influence the volume of exams, Pearson VUE has developed an extensive catalog of products and services meant to increase the supply of candidates ready and able to take our clients certification exams.

The Senior Product Trainer will work with our sales team around the globe to ensure they are equipped to unlock the value of this catalog for our partners. As an integral member of the product team, they will work cross functionally with each member of the product management team to enhance our development roadmap, document key features and benefits of our products, and build asynchronous and synchronous learning assets for our sales team. This role will be a key difference maker in ensuring the global sales team is equipped to bring our entire catalog to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Pearson VUE catalog of products including, but not limited to attending relevant conferences and offsite meetings.

  • Work collaboratively as part of the product management team to ensure deep and broad understanding of the product catalog.

  • Provide feedback to product roadmap discussions based on input from the global sales team.

  • Participate in customer meetings as a expert on the Pearson VUE product offerings

  • Participate in outward facing webinars and live events as an expert on the Pearson VUE product offerings.

  • Develop and deliver a product awareness assessment to score product understanding of each member of the sales team.

  • Based on results provide coaching and learning to ensure all team members are continuously learning.

  • Update assessment on an ongoing basis as needed.

  • Develop and deliver a product training strategy to ensure just in time as well as structured training is occurring on an ongoing basis.

  • Ensure ease of access to all members of the global sales team

  • Solicit feedback from the sales team on areas of improvement in this strategy.

  • Create a validation metric to ensure knowledge transfer is taking place.

Background

  • 5+ years in the IT Training Industry

  • 2+ years of sales experience

  • Experience in operating around the globe.

  • Experience working with large sales teams.

  • Experience working with Training Companies
