Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Commissary Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the commissary, which assembles, and loads supplies aboard aircraft, such as beverages, crew meals, etc. Sun Country Airlines provides the resources and support our employees need to succeed. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the commissary, which assembles, and loads supplies aboard aircraft, such as beverages, crew meals, etc. Essential roles and responsibilities of a Commissary Supervisor: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Supervise, plan, and assign the daily operation of the Commissary Agents. Work with the team loading and unloading aircraft. Be able to cover open shifts by either calling in help or covering yourself. Complete shift reports Assist in the management of work schedules, shift trades and requested time off Ensure that Commissary personnel adhere to established company and federal safety regulations. Prepare incident reports as needed for violations of company policy Perform as mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees. Conduct shift briefings to ensure staff is organized and informed Operate heavy, motorized machinery/equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, catering trucks, snow blower (when applicable) Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of Foreign Objects Debris (FOD) and that all ground service equipment is properly maintained. Follow safety regulations, which include the proper use of ground service equipment and wearing proper safety items Any other duties assigned by management The qualifications we are looking for in an SOC Operations Coordinator include: Previous airport operation experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work efficiently under time constraints Possess a valid driver's license Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to be on a remote location for extended periods of time in outdoor elements PREFERRED SKILLS Previous supervisory experience Sun County Airlines respects and values every employee's contribution to our business.
