The Cary Company Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Mira Loma, California
The Cary Company is seeking a candidate to assist our Logistics team in Oakland, CA. The hours for this role are M-F 6:00a-2:30p.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Use innovation and creativity in developing new processes and procedures
Manage BOLS, pick tickets, and any additional documents for LTL, TL, and container shipments
Create Item fulfillments and process paperwork for shipping.
Greet, check in and direct drivers
Schedule and monitor carrier pickups
Order checking to ensure all orders ship out accurately
Generate receiving labels for inbound shipments
Inbound receiving system input, documentation, product inspection, item identification, labeling, and put away.
Assist with work orders
File, store, mark orders shipped and manage paperwork.
Work directly with warehouse management to assist and support
Ensure a clean and safe work environment
Assist in daily cycle count
Interface with couriers, office personnel and management in response to requests or to ensure service commitments are met
Receiving PO’s
Answering phones
Counting inventory and making adjustments
Requirements:
Successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Show strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and time management
Be self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature and desire to solve problems
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
Sound knowledge about logistics
Strong knowledge about warehouse functions
