Description We are on the hunt for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. The primary function of this role is to utilize various skills such as Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apex Coding, Atlassian Jira, Automation, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, and Continuous Integration to enhance our operations. This role is instrumental in creating dashboards that aid in the smooth running of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Amazon EC2 and Ansible for cloud services and automation respectively, ensuring optimal performance of our systems.

• Employ Apache ANT+ in our build processes to enhance the effectiveness of our software development.

• Use Apex Coding skills to customize our processes in Salesforce.

• Manage our projects effectively using Atlassian Jira, ensuring all tasks are tracked and completed within set timelines.

• Drive system efficiency through the implementation of automation processes.

• Use your knowledge of AWS Technologies to manage our cloud resources.

• Maintain the configuration of our systems, ensuring they are updated and meet the requirements of our operations.

• Implement Continuous Integration (CI) for the regular and automated building and testing of our applications.

• Create and manage dashboards that provide clear visuals and real-time information on our system performance. Requirements

• Possess significant experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration

• Proficient in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apex Coding, Atlassian Jira, Automation, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI), and Dashboard creation

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-tiered systems

• Experience with databases and SQL

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to strategize

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proficiency in writing scripts to automate tasks

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
