REPORTS TO: Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist, Event Marketing and Media Manager, and Sales and Marketing Director
FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Marketing and Media Coordinator for ASM New Orleans/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for assisting the Marketing team in the promotion of the venues and all events at the ASM Managed Complex. This includes, but is not limited to, various administrative duties, social media, and email marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Resize tour artwork and photos for the website
Assist in the creation of the monthly The Front Row e-Newsletter
Develop and monitor monthly social media calendar, including posting and scheduling posts, creating content, and increasing followers & engagement for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X
Attend events to capture social media content, in addition to escorting approved media at events
Assist in the creation of post-event marketing reports
Assist in writing copy and creating presentations for various marketing collateral, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and e-Newsletters
Assist in the development of monthly social media and Google Analytics reports
Assist in creating and implementing grassroots marketing to increase ticket sales for events at all venues
Assist with updating event graphics in weekly ASM advertisements
Assist with generating email reports in Ticketmaster engage
Assist with tracking traffic for all marketing campaigns and online assets in Ticketmaster One
Assist with television and radio monitoring of media coverage regarding our facilities and providing weekly reports
Assist with updating elevator and suite signage at Smoothie King Center based upon current event schedule
Assist in general marketing planning and reporting
Assist in media coordination and escorting for concerts as needed
All other administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to creating purchase requests, scheduling meetings and organizing digital files
Qualifications

Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task with ease
Available some nights and/or weekends
Ability to physically move around the facility
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some College preferred
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Public Relations; preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and other adobe creative software programs, Canva, and any video creation and editing experience is a plus.
Well-versed in social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X
Copy-writing experience
