Robert Half Deposit Specialist in Oak Ridge, New Jersey

Description We are seeking a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in the banking industry, located in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. The role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries as part of your daily functions. As a Credit Clerk, you will also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process and handle customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit data.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and identify any delinquencies.

• Take necessary action to collect payments from customers with delinquent accounts.

• Work closely with the legal team to process subpoenas.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring it reaches the correct teams.

• Manage wire transfers, collaborating closely with the fraud department when necessary.

• Handle a high volume of calls and emails, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

• Utilize banking industry knowledge and data entry skills in daily tasks. Requirements • Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the banking industry.

• Show a strong understanding and knowledge of the banking industry and its procedures.

• Exhibit exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

• Have excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with customers.

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of work.

• Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new banking systems and technologies.

• Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.

• Exhibit a strong work ethic, reliability, and a high level of professionalism.

• Possess problem-solving skills to identify customer issues and determine appropriate solutions.

• Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve common goals.
