Providence is calling an Infection Preventionist RN who will: Be expected to work autonomously within the designated region and ministries Be accountable for implementation of and compliance with policies, practices and processes of Providence Clinical Network Infection Prevention Program at a ministry, regional and system level Follow all current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations Provide infection prevention consultative services focused on providing the highest quality professional care at the lowest cost to patients and the organization Perform all duties in a manner that supports the team concept and reflects the philosophy, mission, vision, and values of the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States: Oregon Washington Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Registered Nurse License in state of residence Within 2 years of hire date: Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology 4+ years of clinical experience Demonstrated in communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, with administrators, physicians, nursing, public and all levels of hospital personnel Preferred qualifications for this position include: Master's Degree in Nursing or Public Health Strong background in sterilization, disinfection and sanitation methods in a healthcare facility Salary Range by Location: Washington: Western: Min: $44.48 Max: $70.41 Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min: $42.67 Max: $67.54 Washington: Tukwila: Min: $44.48 Max: $70.41 Washington: Eastern: Min: $37.97 Max: $60.10 Washington: South Eastern: Min: $39.78 Max: $62.96 Oregon: Portland Metro Region: Min: $42.67 Max: $67.54 Oregon: All cities outside of Portland: Min: $39.78 Max: $62.96 Why Join Providence?
