General Laborer / Forklift Operator

Job Information:

• Temp to hire

• Immediate work available (interview conducted)

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Located in Eatontown, NJ

• Weekly pay, $17 per hour to start and benefits

  General Laborer / Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• This warehouse is filled top-to-bottom and from-one-end-to-the-other with “wooden barrels” of aging liquid food product

• Primary responsibility to moving barrels around warehouse, rotating for QC sample taking and staging barrels consumer bottling using both manual labor, pallet jacks and at times, sit-down propane forklift

• Ensure in-coming raw goods (barrels of liquid food) is properly and safely stored in warehouses

• Scan new material into inventory, print barcode label and tag pallets

• Move material off trucks using sit-down, propane forklift (indoor and outdoor), bring material into warehouse and stow on the correct rack/shelf (up to 25 feet high using forklift)

• Bring raw material to bottling floor based on demand

• Load trucks and ensures shipments match orders, double checking skew to RF scanner

• All the time assists on the Production Line, Bottling Line or many other areas within the facility – we are a small operation and multiple hats are worn by all

• Heavily regulated food environment, must adhere to safe food handling regulations at all times

  General Laborer / Forklift Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• One (1) year of previous forklift experience preferred in a warehouse setting, picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, etc.

• Training and company certification on our forklifts will occur prior to use, including forklift written and hands-on skills test

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for prolonged periods, climb ladders up to 25 feet and operate other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, etc.
