The Partnership Marketing Manager supports marketing initiatives provided by Continuum College for fee-based degrees and other academic partner programs. The Partnership Marketing Manager develops a relationship with academic partners to understand their goals and recommend marketing solutions. The Partnership Marketing Manager centers excellent service and partner satisfaction in their work by researching strategies, developing individualized marketing plans, engaging in regular communication with partners, and acting as a bridge between partners and the Continuum Marketing team to ensure the timely completion of Continuum Marketing tasks. This role also supports the fee-based portfolio of programs by developing and implementing a communication plan that highlights current topics related to fee-based programming and marketing/recruitment in higher education. Qualified candidates will be conversant with a wide range of marketing and account/client management activities and demonstrate an ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a commitment to excellent service and communication.

Marketing Plan Strategy, Development, and Execution

  • Develop customized marketing plans that align with the goals of each academic program (e.g., recruitment and admission goals, name awareness, etc.)

  • Manage execution of all marketing plan activities in collaboration with Continuum Marketing across multiple channels (e.g., ad buys, email marketing, organic search) to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of services

  • Assist in the development of creative briefs to guide creative direction for print, digital, video, and radio campaigns

  • Collaborate with Continuum Marketing on annual website updates and maintenance

  • Research and recommend new marketing channels or audiences for programs

  • Monitor budgets and marketing plan performance, recommending adjustments as needed

  • Compile and analyze performance metrics for advertising campaigns, social media, email, and other marketing activities

  • Craft engagement strategies and timelines for partner-managed social media accounts

  • Stay up to date on marketing best practices for higher education and for reaching adult learners Relationship Management

  • In partnership with the Partner Success Leads, deeply understand each program’s objectives and long-term goals in order to provide expert marketing strategy recommendations

  • Organize and lead marketing campaign performance meetings at least annually with program leadership to review performance and consult on goals for the upcoming year

  • Provide timely and ongoing communication related to the status of marketing initiatives and plans with key stakeholders and colleagues across the organization

  • Secure partner approval of marketing plans, including budget, strategy, and execution

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with the Continuum Marketing team and the Partner Success Leads Fee-Based Portfolio Communication Management

  • Establish a structured communication plan for the fee-based portfolio of programs that encourages engagement with Continuum College

  • Develop and oversee communication strategies for initiatives impacting the fee-based portfolio of programs

  • Identify and create opportunities for consistency, reliability, and customer service orientation in Continuum communications to partners

  • Communicate the value of the Continuum College portfolio of services and how they enhance the student experience from pre-enrollment through post-graduation Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in communication, English, business, social sciences or a related field and 4 years of work experience in marketing or marketing communications role Additional Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and experience developing positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, particularly digital marketing, with multiple overlapping components

  • Ability to identify and synthesize marketing analytics and share insights about campaign performance to a variety of non-technical audiences

  • Experience developing and implementing communication strategies

  • Strong organizational, editing, writing, and project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
