City Wide Facility Solutions 2nd Shift Supervisor Commercial Facilities in St. Louis, Missouri

City Wide Facility Solutions St. Louis, named a "Best Place to Work in STL 2023" is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor that will oversee janitorial contractors on a nightly basis. This position is responsible for ensuring the scope of work for our clients is successfully completed according to City Wide and client expectations.

The work week is Monday-Friday. The shift typically starts at 5pm and ends at 1am. You will start your shift from home and finish your shift at home. You are not required to come into the office on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all service providers

  • Communicate with service providers regarding complaints, inspection results and facility issues

  • Coach and assist new service providers on proper procedures and equipment

  • Effectively communicate with the Account Manager and Operations Manager to make recommendations of service providers for work assignments

  • Perform nightly facility inspections on a pre-determined route

  • Maintain records and inventories in buildings on route

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Energetic, hard-working, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently

  • Previous management experience

  • 6 months of related experience and/or training (preferred)

  • Solid understanding of basic business math

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Compensation $41,000 - $52,000 per year plus monthly retention bonus
