The M.S. in Public Relations Innovation, Strategy and Management (MSPRISM) online program at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism seeks a qualified Adjunct Lecturer to teach the coursePRSM 500: Strategic Planning for Multichannel Communication Campaigns. This course explores the contemporary practices of branding, advertising and public relations and their expanding role in the development of multichannel communication campaign plans. In this course, the Adjunct Lecturer will teach students how to:

· Evaluate the use of or approach to paid, earned, shared and owned (PESO) media for a multichannel communication campaign plan.

· Recommend ways to address opportunities, challenges, key stakeholders and diversity for a holistic communication campaign plan.

· Develop a multichannel communication plan using the Strategic Integrated Planning (SIP) Model.

· Select appropriate metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of an integrated, multichannel communication campaign plan.

Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience, particularly online teaching experience, is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.

The hourly range for this position is $36.37 – $45.46. USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year, but in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.
