General Summary

The Director, Digital & Technology leads a team that strategically manages the technology enablement and information security policies for a US Federal Government contractor. This includes establishing and directing the strategic technology goals, policies and procedures for the organization including application stack, product development, cybersecurity, and hardware provisioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways the Digital & Technology team can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.

  • Identifies emerging technology developments and how they can support efficiency and growth in the business.

  • Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.

  • Establishes information security policies and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.

  • Assists as top-level contact for end users in determining information security requirements and/or solutions.

  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.

  • Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.

  • Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs.

  • Manage backup, security and user help systems.

  • Direct or coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.

  • Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.

  • Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.

  • Confer with board members, organization officials, or staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.

  • Leads being compliant within software systems, DoD, supply chain management.

Education, Licenses and Certification

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum Secret Clearance

  • Top Secret Clearance
